Ninjutsu Philosophy & Gokui

Ninjutsu philosophy & gokui. In our Bujinkan training we come across certain phrases and expressions:

10,000 changes no surprises.

Always win.

Heart like flowers and bamboo.

What do these phrases express?

Philosophy in movement, as expressed by our physical taijutsu, which expresses the mind and heart.

While there is a component of intellectually understanding these training phrases, that is a very small component, one understands them through movement, through training, cultivating them spiritually through training.

Physical.

Our understanding is different when compared to the academics or other spiritual discipline as all one has to do is train in the dojo to catch the feeling and understanding of these principals- which are applies to living our lives

Located in Westchester New York, the Bujinkan Shinmyoken Dojo is a martial arts training group founded in 2005 with the aim of coming together as martial arts friends to study the Japanese martial art of Masaaki Hatsumi through the lessons of the Bujinkan dojo.

As friends (buyu) we come together to grow, learn, and share our individual potential in this wonderful martial art.

Questions, comments, feedback, and inquiries may be emailed to the group here: BujinkanShinmyoken@gmail.com.
