Correct Martial Arts Footwear

The idea of moving in structure which develops natural movement.

In our martial arts movement paying attention to the alignment of the body.

Starting with the head, over the shoulders, over the spine, hips, knees and feet.

Joints in alignment.

But what about the feet?

The importance of footwear and any effect on alignment and movement.

Footwear to protect the feet, footwear depending on the situation.

Certain environment might call of a heavy boot, but what about keeping martial arts movement in mind.

Footwear that protects the feet from the ground, but is supple and soft enough not to impact the alignment of the ankles when moving.

Footwear that does not bind the feet, but allows one to move nimble and free.

Something as external as footwear does infleunce martial arts movement.

As friends (buyu) we come together to grow, learn, and share our individual potential in this wonderful martial art.
