Martial Arts Students: What It Is Like To Train At The Dojo?

The dojo is a place for martial arts friends to gather.

A place to step outside of the day-to-day activity and exist in a place of opportunity.

A place of discovery.

In the case of our dojo- we gather to study the transmission of the Bujinkan dojo: Bujinkan method.

As martial arts friends, we are here to support the movement-development of each other.

As a teacher, it is my role to help each student be the best that they can be- based on the *how* and *why* they are at the dojo.

The reason *why* they are training.

For some the martial arts are life, for others a part of life- whatever your reason for studying the arts, you are welcome- they are here to improve your life by showing you how to move, how natural law can be understood.

The question is this: how can you use this natural law in your life to better your life?

All are welcome.

Come and see.

Located in Westchester New York, the Bujinkan Shinmyoken Dojo is a martial arts training group founded in 2005 with the aim of coming together as martial arts friends to study the Japanese martial art of Masaaki Hatsumi through the lessons of the Bujinkan dojo.

As friends (buyu) we come together to grow, learn, and share our individual potential in this wonderful martial art.
