Getting started in the martial arts…
A time of amazing opportunity and momentum, taking that enthusiasm of starting a new quest, a new life and building on it the best that we can to make massive gains in the first year of training.
That is the plan as a martial arts coach.
We begin by taking stock of our physical health and capacity- we can always be and do better with exercise and diet, but we start where we are.
Making a commitment to make and build better choices each day to be the best capacity that we can.
Focusing on stretching, building a daily stretching routine to increase out capacity and range of movement in the martial arts.
Working on the basic of the martial arts- the kihon in the Japanese martial arts, every day- polishing the mirror, working to internalize and understand these movements.
Looking at the commitments in our lives and working to have time to practice and enjoy the martial arts every day.
