Bujinkan Shinmyoken Dojo Membership

Training in the Bujinkan Shinmyoken dojo is available for those interested in experiencing Japanese budo as expressed through the Bujinkan dojo, who are also of legal age eighteen years or older, and who possess and can demonstrate a good heart.

Admission to a traditional dojo is not to be taken lightly and the application process is designed to ensure that the applicant and dojo are both a correct fit in promoting martial harmony.

As such the application process is a way to explore this possibility so both groups can make the best decision. The first part of the process is to introduce yourself and your interest in training through the contact email address on our website below, and any questions you may have can be addressed.

From there a completed application for membership form is required, followed by an interview where any further questions may be answered.

Following this, if appropriate an invitation to watch a class will be extended and any final questions resolved before joining the training.

Located in Westchester New York, the Bujinkan Shinmyoken Dojo is a martial arts training group founded in 2005 with the aim of coming together as martial arts friends to study the Japanese martial art of Masaaki Hatsumi through the lessons of the Bujinkan dojo.

As friends (buyu) we come together to grow, learn, and share our individual potential in this wonderful martial art.

Questions, comments, feedback, and inquiries may be emailed to the group here: BujinkanShinmyoken@gmail.com.
