Are we not only moving correctly, but aware of the day to day of our body?
Running up a wall, shoten jutsu I can scale about 15 feet.
When I was in my 20’s the ability to take ukemi and land without a problem.
Now being a bit older, being aware that the timing of the ukemi has changed and I need to adapt in order to be able to land not only correctly but safely.
An example focusing on the knee.
In training when we put our foot down- san shin no kata and the kihon happo, are we slamming out foot down heavy, putting stress and strain on the knee, or are we stepping normally and with control so there is no stress on the knee?
