Early on in my Bujinkan martial arts training the concept of mushashin- the warrior’s heart in the Japanese martial arts was vital to understanding the Bujinkan and its transmission.
The warrior’s heart is how one carries themselves both inside and outside the dojo.
Inside the dojo, never giving up in training and training as a good example to those junior in the dojo- kohai.
Outside the dojo, working to represent the dojo, the Bujinkan, and society in the best manner.
This warrior heart is what helps power the transmission.
