Dojo Cho

Training is supervised by Fred Feddeck who began his training in the Bujinkan dojo in 1993 at the Bujinkan New York dojo under Joe Maurantonio. In 2003 he was honored to take the godan shinsa with the Bujinkan Shinmyoken dojo later forming in 2006 as vehicle to continue exploring the Bujinkan martial arts. His training philosophy is simple, as expressed by the aim of the dojo and training group.

I was fortunate, in many instances by being at the right place and the right time, often much ahead of my ability, to experience and share many experiences with my seniors in the dojo, shihan in the Bujinkan dojo, soke, and my own teacher. Every training session that we hold at the dojo, I ask the question- today, little by little, how do we train, practice, and explore the lessons given so we move closer to moving like soke. Understanding the extreme kindness that was given to me, and the obligation to share that sincerity with anybody who trains and works out with us. Hope to see you on the mat.

We are currently holding regular training sessions. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic still in effect we have altered our class structure- all training is held at maximum social distancing and any waza practiced does not involve touching or moving into the space of another training partner, so safe distance can be maintained at all times. Training under this format will continue until the pandemic has passed and contact is safe again. Ninpo Ikkan!

Located in Westchester, New York we are a martial arts training group dedicated to studying the Bujinkan dojo methods of Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi. As friends we come together to practice the martial arts. Questions, comments, feedback, and training inquiries may be directed to the group by email here.
